This initiative is a school-community partnership with school and community that encourages students to use nonviolent means to resolve conflicts, develop a positive climate and culture within the schools, and encourage positive emotional development within the youth.
These Chapters are established and led by students, and are a powerful approach to preventing gun violence (and other forms of violence and victimization) because they recognize the unique role that young people play in making their schools and communities safer.
The goal of HPEP and LPEP is to strengthen the academic proficiency as well as the career development of students who are underrepresented in the health and law professions.
This pilot program was created to help build understanding between youth, law enforcement officials, and other community members as well as build the relationships between them.
Our Career Exploration workshops operate with a hands-on and lead-by-example approach allowing participants immediate experience opportunities, professional educational instruction, and industry specific leadership.
